We leave from Bariloche, along route 237 towards west, where the landscape begins to change notably, since we begin to enter the steppe. We go across the Limay river in its source (Nahuel Huapi lake) and we cross into the province of Neuquén. The road leading to Villa la Angostura is extremely beautiful, leading us along the Huemul branch of Nahuel Huapi, going across steams and thousand-year-old woods. Just before arriving at the town, we take the fork towards Cerro Bayo, from where we can appreciate the outstanding sight of the Nahuel Huapi lake, Isla Victoria, Península Quetrihué and the only myrtle woods of its kind. For those who want even more extraordinary sights and visit Cerro Bayo, they can take the chair lift (not included in the rate). We carry on our way to Villa la Angostura, a wonderful village in the mountains, known for the quality of its architecture. After visiting it, we will go to: El Mesidor, La Asunción chapel, Correntoso lake and river and the charming Espejo lake.
